This morning around a thousand people gathered on the Unter den Linden boulevard in Berlin for the Demonstration against anti-covid-19 measures. The march should then continue towards Tiergarten park. At the Brandenburg Gate, which is at its entrance, there are already a large number of policemen.

Many protesters chant slogans taken from the 1989 protests against the East German regime: “Open the doors” and “We are the people.” The demonstration was authorized by the court after authorities initially banned it for health reasons. In a similar protest in early August, few wore masks and distances were not respected. Police yesterday promised to intervene without delay if there are other violations.
