The man was detained during a series of controls by the Bergamo and Treviglio carabinieri along Provincial 122, in the Calcinate, Mornico al Serio, Ghisalba and Cologno al Serio area. The military identified 15 prostitutes, almost all of Romanian origin, and around 50 motorists. Eight sanctions for violation of the anti-prostitution regulations issued by the mayors of the area. Four other motorists were fined for various traffic violations.
