Beginning in the 2020/21 school year, teachers hired with reserved positions do not assume service for the position, but may accept substitutes.

To provide clarification on “reserved places” for newly placed teachers with reservation is the Foggia School Office writing in a special note

“In the event that the provision of the place is foreseen, IThe professor in question will not have to assume his functions nor will the entry into the position be registered at SIDI. This will only occur in the event of positive dissolution of the reservation and subsequent notification of the favorable judicial measure by the interested party.

The teacher’s ability to obtain substitutes of any kind is not affected.

In the relative reserved place, this Office will proceed to arrange temporary uses or assignments or, in the case of new vacations, substitutes until the end of the teaching activities.

Compared with the places reserved in the academic year 2019/2020, having detected the need for the proper functioning of the school administration, it will be the responsibility of the interested party to notify this Office of the favorable judicial measures. In the event of a positive dissolution of the reservation, the interested party will be asked to choose the place among all the places available at that time ”.

The places reserved for contests are virtual

The communication does not refer to the allocation of places foreseen for the ordinary and primary children’s competition, the ordinary secondary competition and the extraordinary competition for the role.

However, the Ministry has prepared three rows with the allocation of the quota of places that would have been assigned if the rankings of the ordinary competitions had been ready to enter the role of the 2020/21 school year.

N.B. These are “virtual” places that do not detract from the 84,808 places attributable to the displacement of gaE and rankings of merits of the 2016 and 2018 competitions.

However, these are places that are reserved before the speed call. That is, in the residual places for quick summons, the places reserved for the peers who will win the role should not be counted as useful and therefore temporary and substitute assignments can be assigned to those residual places, but not roles.
