Bari prepares for the early closing of the stores at 19:00. The mayor Antonio Decaro, after consulting the trade associations, as part of the activities of the Municipal Operational Commission (Coc) for Civil Protection, is preparing an ordinance to encourage the continuous opening of commercial activities by bringing the closing time forward to 19 from Friday the 13th November.

“In this complicated situation we all have to do our part – explains the mayor -. In addition to the limitations that the Government has already imposed on us, we are called to a new effort: to rethink our habits and our life times. That is why we have proposed to the trade associations the early closure of shops, which in recent days have represented the excuse for many citizens to delay creating situations of nighttime gatherings. In this way, it will be possible to shop safely, at less crowded hours, protecting everyone’s health ”.
