(ANSA) – ROME, AUGUST 28 – The Department of Civil Protection has issued a warning of adverse meteorological conditions that foresees, as of this afternoon, scattered to diffuse rains, predominantly downpour or storm, initially in Valley D ‘Aosta, in extension, tomorrow, in Liguria, Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany. The phenomena will be accompanied by heavy showers, frequent electrical activity, local hailstorms and strong gusts of wind.

Based on the expected and ongoing phenomena, an orange alert was evaluated for tomorrow in the autonomous province of Bolzano and in the sectors of Lombardy, Veneto, Piedmont and Liguria. In addition, a yellow alert was evaluated in Valle D’Aosta, the autonomous province of Trento, Friuli Venezia Giulia, in part of Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany and in the remaining sectors of Piedmont, Lombardy, Veneto and Liguria.
