We go back to class and we have to deal with the Coronavirus. First case of Covid at Marymount International School in Rome: It is a boy in the last year of high school, who tested positive for Sars Cov-2
This morning the director of the institute notified parents and teachers and the protocol already planned for these cases was activated: All students in the class and teachers who have had contact with the child are in isolation at home waiting to take the tests.
The school immediately offered lessons to interested students, to prevent them from being left behind with the program.
Regarding the coronavirus emergency, in recent days the mayor of Rome had intervened, Virginia Raggi, who had “gotten his hands on” possible cases: “Surely the reopening of the school year will create criticalities. In Rome we have about 1,200 schools, there may be problems. We are working on realization and to prevent them, all of you should be a little more lenient with each other. There will be some problems, but we will face them, let’s not point the finger at each other because it is not necessary.
