Better late than never. The Minister of Education Patrizio bianchi ordered the administration to proceed with the revocation of the assignment assigned to Professor Pasquale Vespa, the alleged harasser of the former minister Lucia azzolina.
It was Azzolina herself who denounced the incident: «I find out that the Undersecretary of the League Rossano Sasso has a new associate in ministry. Is called Pasquale Vespa: He is a lecturer accused in criminal proceedings for repeated defamation in the press and serious threats. Vespa has spent the last two years of his life publicly insulting me … threatening me with death. A cyberbully, for all intents and purposes.
Vespa had published a video that contained a photo of Azzolina and a frame taken from a horror movie with blood, monsters and witches that ended with the phrase “when unemployed we will be your worst nightmare.” And then he had published some posts on Facebook, the content of which the former minister defines as vulgar and sexist. For this he had been denounced.
Obviously, it is fine for the Judiciary to take its course, but it seems that too many in the Ministry (which is still Education) have turned a deaf ear to the appointment of Vespa. From education to destruction, the passage is as fast as the sting of a hymenoptera.
