“It will be a different Christmas but we must be even more responsible: we have a duty as a country, to reopen secondary schools.

The more responsible and cautious we are during the holidays, the more achievable that goal will be. I invite you all to embrace the world of school and protect our school by being responsible. “

This was stated by the Minister of Education, Lucía Azzolina, on the occasion of the Ministry’s digital Christmas event.

“I will spend Christmas with the person I love the most in the world, my sister, but we will be able to make video calls to our relatives and I am sure that soon we will be able to hug each other again,” added the minister.

“There is a lot of work to return on January 7 with face-to-face teaching. We have organized tables with the prefects to try to cross the transport data and the entry and exit times with respect to the local situations to avoid rush hours ”, said Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte yesterday in Accordi & Disaccordi.

Meanwhile, the government is preparing to define a greater tightening for the Christmas period.

From Luca: we work in transportation

In Campania, 259 new buses were delivered to companies also with a view to reopening schools. “These new bus supplies will go a long way toward enabling less crowded school transportation. If the school year will resume as expected, something for which I have my doubts, but we will decide at the beginning of January ”, commented the president of the Campania Region, Vincenzo De Luca.

However, with these new buses – he continued – we are preparing to help with the reopening of the school year, because if there are no means, transportation will always be overcrowded ”.
