Udine, December 5 – Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 755 new infections were detected (9.61 percent of the 7,853 swabs performed). In addition, 21 deaths from Covid-19 were recorded, in addition to 10 other previous deaths entered the system today and related to the period from November 8 to December 2.
This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.
People who have tested positive for the virus in the region since the start of the pandemic totaled 34,765, of which: 7,992 in Trieste, 15,195 in Udine, 6,868 in Pordenone and 4,286 in Gorizia, in addition to 424 people from outside the region.
The current cases of infection are 15,506. The number of patients treated in intensive care has dropped to 58 and 640 are hospitalized in other wards. The total of deaths amounted to 1,008, with the following territorial subdivision: 335 in Trieste, 406 in Udine, 211 in Pordenone and 56 in Gorizia.
