Trieste, December 3 – Today 772 new infections were detected in Friuli Venezia Giulia (7.74% of the 9,970 swabs performed). Additionally, 34 deaths from Covid-19 were recorded, in addition to 18 other previous deaths entered into the system today.
This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.
A total of 32,970 people who have tested positive for the virus in the region since the beginning of the pandemic, of which: 7,696 in Trieste, 14,437 in Udine, 6,353 in Pordenone and 4,088 in Gorizia, in addition to 396 people from outside the region.
The current cases of infection are 15,297. 59 patients are in intensive care and the number of hospitalized in other wards has dropped to 629 (-23 since yesterday). The deaths totaled 941, with the following territorial subdivision: 321 in Trieste, 375 in Udine, 195 in Pordenone and 50 in Gorizia.
The totally cured are 16,732, the clinically cured 414 and the isolated 14,195. ARC / MA / pph
