Deaths are twenty six
Palmanova, December 15 – Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia 829 new infections have been detected (7.86% of the 10,551 swabs made) and 26 deaths from Covid-19, in addition to 16 deaths that occurred at home between October 19 and on December 9 and another 10 in the period between December 11 and 13. The number of patients in intensive care treatment has dropped to 56 and the number of hospitalized in other departments is also decreasing, which currently number 654.
This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.
People who have tested positive for the virus in the region since the start of the pandemic amounted to a total of 41,320, of which: 8,987 in Trieste, 18,367 in Udine, 8,571 in Pordenone and 4,886 in Gorizia, to which 509 people are added from outside the region. The current cases of infection are 14,524. The total of deaths amounted to 1,299, with the following territorial division: 405 in Trieste, 545 in Udine, 268 in Pordenone and 81 in Gorizia.
The totally cured are 25,497, the clinically cured 585 and the isolated 13,229. ARC / AL / ep
