Palmanova, December 10 – Today 672 new infections have been detected in Friuli Venezia Giulia (8.04% of the 8,356 swabs performed). In addition, 33 deaths from Covid-19 were recorded, in addition to 9 other previous deaths entered the system today and related to the period from December 4 to 8.
This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.
The people who have tested positive for the virus in the region since the beginning of the pandemic amounted to a total of 37,789, of which: 8,455 in Trieste, 16,704 in Udine, 7,589 in Pordenone and 4,573 in Gorizia, plus 468 people from outside the region.
The current cases of infection are 14,712. The number of patients in intensive care treatment is reduced to 62 and 652 hospitalized in other departments. The deaths amounted to 1,164, with the following territorial subdivision: 378 in Trieste, 479 in Udine, 240 in Pordenone and 67 in Gorizia.
The totally cured are 21,913, the clinically cured 517 and the isolated 13,481. ARCO / GG
