Trieste, November 21 – Today in Friuli Venezia Giulia, 1,043 new infections have been detected (14.37 percent of the 7,258 swabs performed) and 25 deaths from Covid-19. Of the new positives to date, 176 refer to previous tests carried out in private laboratories.
This was announced by the Deputy Governor responsible for Health, Riccardo Riccardi.
People who have tested positive for the virus in the region since the beginning of the pandemic amounted to a total of 23,983, of which: 6,077 in Trieste, 10,054 in Udine, 4,638 in Pordenone and 2,905 in Gorizia, to which 309 people are added. from outside the region.
The current cases of infection are 12,975. The number of patients treated in intensive care has increased to 55 and 509 hospitalized in other wards. The deaths amounted to 633, with the following territorial subdivision: 265 in Trieste, 197 in Udine, 149 in Pordenone and 22 in Gorizia.
