Filming in Rochester, on Lake Ontario, in the far northwestern corner of New York State. At least two people were killed and 16 others were injured. According to preliminary information, a gunman opened fire at a garden party with more than 100 people shortly after midnight on Friday (6 am in Italy). No arrests have been made at this time. The assault took place near Goodman Street and Pennsylvania Avenue in the city of 200,000 people. The victims, according to Police Chief Mark Simmons, are a boy and a girl, just over 18 years old. The party was not authorized.

The whole area was closed off by police and helicopters with powerful headlights were raised to help search for the shooter who would leave immediately after firing an automatic weapon.
A witness to the shooting told local television that so many shots were fired that “it felt like the Vietnam War,” reports the website 13WHAM News.

Simmons is the acting chief of police in Rochester. The former manager, La’Ron D. Singletary, was fired after the death of Daniel Prude, an African-American who died on March 30 from asphyxia: agents had hooded him while pressing his head against the asphalt for at least two minutes.
