A girl stopped to chat and ran away. Arrested after a daring escape with the car in the wrong direction.
The news that reached the Carabinieri Operations Center of the Villacidro Company seemed quite worrying: a boy was molesting a girl at the Fanny de Guspini Gallery. A patrol from the local station and another from the Villacidro mobile radio station arrived at the scene in a few minutes. There was a clean 39-year-old who had an argument with a girl, but nothing bad actually happened.
The man seemed calm when he checked, little or nothing could have been contested except in terms of timing. However, someone had interpreted that approach as dangerous. Suddenly, however, the man escaped on foot, got into the car and embarked on a daring and dangerous getaway that continued in his own car. He entered Corso Matteotti in the wrong direction, dangerously, and only by chance, fortunately, did not find anyone heading in the opposite direction.
In the continuation of the escape, however, he went to ram an Audi car that was circulating in the opposite direction, until he could not continue the march. The carabinieri had to go through the car window to capture him because, although he could not go any further, he kept moving the car from one side to another desperately, also risking hurting his pursuers.
The man was in Guspini for work and had just left a bank, because then everything else had happened it is really difficult to hypothesize. Certainly there was active resistance to the carabinieri, which is why the man was arrested for resisting and harming a public official.
