After the rains and storms of the last days, as of tomorrow an Arctic disturbance will begin to approach the central Mediterranean basin, determining a new phase of widespread bad weather in most of the Italian peninsula, especially on Fridays and Saturdays. . Starting tomorrow we will see the first effects of the worsening in the northern regions with rainfall that will be more frequent from the afternoon.

In the next few hours, the Arctic disturbance will bring a new wave of bad weather over Italy, starting in the northern regions and then involving the rest of the country. Based on the available forecasts, the Department of Civil Protection has issued a new weather alert that foresees generalized rains from early morning tomorrow, which will also be very intense locally and accompanied by lightning, hailstorms and strong gusts of wind, in Liguria, Tuscany and Emilia Romagna in extension, in the afternoon in Lombardy and Veneto. The Department also assessed an orange alert in much of Emilia-Romagna and Liguria.

During the day, the disturbance is approaching and the weather will worsen in the north with rains and showers, including thunderstorms, which will intensify in the northwest and will spread at night to the Alps and central-eastern Pre-Alps and will invade the plains of the northeast with even strong phenomena. The storms are also intensifying in Liguria and especially in the Levant. It tends to get worse during the day in Tuscany too, with showers and thunderstorms especially at night in the interior and north, some isolated showers as far as Lazio. The disturbance that arrived on Thursday will continue its journey to the southeast driven by the depression that will be excavated at the height of northern Italy. The weather will remain unstable or altered in the north, particularly in eastern Liguria, Lombardy and Triveneto, with heavy rains and thunderstorms, while clearings will take over in the northwest and in Emilia. The entrance of cold air that pushes the front will cause the drop in the snow level in the Alps to around 1200 / 1400m in the afternoon in the central-western ones. In the rest of Italy exposed to bad weather will be mainly the regions of Sardinia and Tyrrhenian, where we will have intense rains and thunderstorms, while the Adriatic and Ionian regions will remain warm, with a dry climate and more luminous spells. The forecast for the weekend
