Thirteen unpresentable – There are 13 candidates in the next regional elections arrested by the bicameral anti-mafia commission headed by Nicola Morra. In the investigations, the latter specified, only pending charges and sentences included in the Severino law and the self-regulation code were examined.

In Campania – There are 9 names that have not passed the controls on the requirements for the candidacy, 5 in support of outgoing Governor Vincenzo De Luca and 4 in support of challenger Stefano Caldoro. Here are the names: Aureliano Iovine, (List Liberaldemocrati Campania), accused of criminal association of the mafia type; Carlo Iannace (list De Luca’s president) convicted of embezzlement; Sabino basso (Campania free list – President De Luca) accused of money laundering; also with trial for the same crime Michele langella (List of Campania in Europe, in support of De Luca); Francesco Plaitano (“Italian Republican Party” for Vincenzo De Luca) pending sentence for extortion.
In Caldoro’s deployment, however, there are 4 unpresentable: Orsola De Stefano (on the list of Lega Salvini Campania), accused of extortion; Maria Grazia Di Scala (Forza Italia Berlusconi with Caldoro), also accused of extortion; Monica paolino (Forza Italia Berlusconi with Caldoro), accused of an electoral exchange between politicians and mafias; Francesco Silvestro (Forza Italia Berlusconi with Caldoro), accused of extortion.

In Puglia – In Puglia there are three candidates for the regional council identified by the anti-mafia commission: two candidates on the lists of outgoing Michele Emiliano and one in support of the far-right candidate Franco Piero Antonio Bruni. Here are the names: Raffaele Guido (on the extreme right list Fiamma Tricolore), accused of various crimes including attempted private violence, aggravated injuries and threats, aggravated with the aim of facilitating the activities of mafia associations; Silvana Albani (Puglia Solidale Verde List in support of Emiliano), accused of the crimes of false expert opinion, corruption by act contrary to official duties and corruption in judicial acts, aggravated by the objective of facilitating the activities of mafia associations; Vincenzo Gelardi (candidate in the Progressive Party of the South of the South), accused on several occasions for fraudulent transfer of aggravated values ​​with the purpose of facilitating the activities of mafia associations.

The Aosta Valley candidate – The only problematic candidate in Valle d’Aosta is Augusto Arduino Rollandin, suspended for being convicted of the crime of corruption for an act contrary to official duties.
