MACERATA – A place in the closed center and 20 young people fined. Repression by the Carabinieri of the Macerata Company against the transgressors of the anti-Covid-19 measures. During the operation, 20 young people were sanctioned because they were found outside the enclosure without masks that covered their mouth and nose and without respecting the social distancing, imposed by the Ministry of Health with the ordinance of August 16 and extended by the decree of the Republic President. Council of Ministers until next October 7. These are young people who, despite the presence of the carabinieri, continued to be close to each other without wearing a mask. All have been sanctioned. Now they will be able to pay the reduced fine within five days of the dispute for an amount equivalent to 280 euros. Once the five days have elapsed, the penalty will increase to 400 euros. Regarding the controls carried out inside the center’s facilities, the controls carried out also led to the closure for five days of the “Porchetteria Centrale” sandwich in Piazza della Libertà, where the police found two employees and a client who were not wearing clothes without protection.
Commitment
The military had already anticipated last week that the controls would soon affect locals as well. The checks that will surely last for two weeks and a little longer (except for extensions) serve to guarantee compliance with the anti-Covid measures and prevent a possible transmission of the virus. Sacrifice and a little extra attention at this historic moment can avoid serious consequences on several levels (not only in terms of health, but also financial) in the near future.
