Yesterday afternoon the special commissioner for the Covid-19 emergency, Domenico Arcuri, was heard at the House and Senate Budget Committee meeting for hearings on the Budget Law. But the parliamentary commissioners have left out the topic of the hearing for several on the most disparate topics, thanks to the fact that Arcuri – who in addition to being commissioned for the emergency is also president of Invitalia – now has a number of abilities that are also very different from each other.
FdI deputy leaves Trancassini who calls the flu vaccination a ‘colossal failure’ and hopes things will go differently with the Covid vaccine. Arcuri responds agreeing with the Melonian deputy reminding him that however “the management of the seasonal vaccine is not managed by the commissioner but of the Regions that is if they have occupied it for some decades ”. Follow the deputy of the League Comaroli who asks the Commissioner about the Coronavirus emergency, heard about the Budget Law, about the “situation of Ilva” (which would be the Taranto plant today ArcelorMittal). Then it is the turn of Roberto Pella, deputy of Forza Italia and mayor of Valdengo, who asks Arcuri in what order and according to what criteria citizens will be chained to vaccinate in the Covid. “The commissioner does not decide nor would he have the right to decide which categories are responsible for administering the vaccine first. This is a decision concerning a proposal that the Minister of Health will make to Parliament in the coming weeks ”. The session, at the end of the pre-established hearing time, begins with an exchange between the senator Bagnai and bows.
