The President of the Puglia region, Michele Emiliano, based on information from the Director of the Department of Health Promotion Vito Montanaro, reports that today, Tuesday, October 6, 2020 in Puglia, 4,416 tests of infection by coronavirus Covid-19 have been registered and registered 106 positive cases: 30 in the province of Bari, 3 in the province of Brindisi, 15 in the province of BAT, 26 in the province of Foggia, 7 in the province of Lecce, 25 in the province of Taranto. 4 deaths were recorded: 2 in the province of Bari, 1 in the province of Foggia, 1 in the province of Lecce.
430,702 tests have been carried out since the start of the emergency. 4,829 they are cured patients. 2,991 are currently positive cases.
The total of positive cases of Covid in Puglia is 8,423, divided as follows: 3,357 in the province of Bari; 777 in the province of Bat; 783 in the province of Brindisi; 2,014 in the province of Foggia; 829 in the province of Lecce; 599 in the province of Taranto; 62 attributed to residents outside the region; 2 province of unknown residence.
The APL prevention departments have activated all the procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, with the aim of tracing close contacts.
