Viterbo – We received and published – 38 confirmed cases of Covid-19 positivity were reported by the Molecular Genetics section of Belcolle to the Coronavirus Operational Team of the ASL of Viterbo at 11 am.
Another four cases of Covid-19 positivity were reported by health facilities outside of ASL.
The latest reports of positivity are related to swabs performed on citizens residing or domiciled in the following municipalities: 14 in Viterbo, 9 in Monterosi, 5 in Civita Castellana, 4 in Bassano Romano, 2 in Vetralla, 2 in Tarquinia, 1 in Sutri, 1 in Montefiascone, 1 in Oriolo Romano, 1 in Blera, 1 in Graffignano, 1 in Faleria.
Of the cases at present, 29 have an epidemiological link with previously established and already isolated cases, 11 are connected to swabs made for symptomatology and one is connected to preventive swabs to assist a hospitalized patient. 41 are convalescing at home and one is currently hospitalized in the Belcolle Infectious Diseases ward.
The Coronavirus operational team has activated prevention and protection measures, in order to contain the spread of the virus, strengthening the chain of close contacts, with the valuable collaboration of municipal administrations.
In total, at 11 this morning, the cases of positivity to Covid-19, resident or domiciled in Tuscia, amount to 883 of which 48 are the cases verified in extra Asl structures.
In addition, the ASL reports that, erroneously, yesterday a case of positivity attributed to the municipality of Tuscania was reported, while the person who tested positive for Coronavirus is actually a resident of the municipality of Ischia di Castro.
Today there have been no reported cases of negativization in Covid-19.
At the moment, of the people reported positive for Coronavirus: 14 are hospitalized in the infectious diseases department, 3 are hospitalized in an additional ASL health center and 302 are convalescing at home. The number of negative people remains at 536, 28 are the deceased, to which must be added the patient resident in Tuscia and who died in a hospital outside the province.
Since the start of the Covid emergency, 35,955 swabs have been made in the province of Viterbo, 441 in the last 24 hours. To date, 643 citizens are in fiduciary home isolation, while 5,000 850 have completed the isolation period.
The seroprevalence investigation initiated by the Lazio region continues in Tuscia. As of yesterday, the Belcolle and Civita Castellana analysis laboratories reported 9,888 serological tests. Of these, 138 gave positive results, with a prevalence rate of 1.40%.
