BOSARO He died in the middle of the road, struck down by a disease that did not let him out. Tragedy yesterday morning – December 1 – a Bosaro, near state highway 16, a few meters from Locanda del Sorriso. Andrea Trevisiol, a 41-year-old truck driver, a Venetian from Meolo, lost his life around 8.30 in the morning yesterday due to a sudden illness. The man worked for him by Amazon logistics Castelguglielmo and had been staying for a month at the Locanda in via Nazionale. Emergency resuscitation attempts by SUEM staff were useless: the Polesella carabinieri also intervened for the first surveys, alerted by signals from passersby.

CLOSED BY CONTACT
The Locanda del Sorriso in recent weeks had to close due to the Coronavirus emergency, after the cook tested positive for Covid-19, while the swabs made to the other workers gave negative results. The restaurant is closed from November 13th. The kitchen and dining rooms are completely separate from the rooms where two guests were staying until a few hours ago, one of whom was the unfortunate truck driver who was hit by illness right on the sidewalk in front of the restaurant. Trevisiol was in possession of the keys to enter and exit the Locanda. The man had presented himself to the owners last month to search for accommodation, convenient for its proximity to Amazon’s maxi-logistics center in Castelguglielmo. An ideal location for the 41-year-old meologist, given that the owners have chosen to apply affordable rates for the workers of the e-commerce giant.

CONFIDENTIAL CHARACTER
The owners describe him as a rather shy and reserved person: he left the inn to work, but never stopped for lunch or dinner at the restaurant. From time to time he would be absent for a short period, going home to the Venetian, to Meolo, to be with his family, and then back to Bosaro.
SICK
A detail emerges about the man’s state of health, who on Saturday had sent a message to the owners of the inn and had complained of pain in his leg and some lines of fever. The man appeared concerned, but apparently did not contact medical staff for the swab test in the following days. During his brief stay in Bosaro, the 41-year-old Venetian had not established any particular relationship with the community and did not frequent shops or other public places in the town. However, his sudden death embittered the small town and the Bosaro municipal administration expressed its condolences for Trevisiol’s disappearance. The man had left the province of Venice and temporarily moved to Polesine, where he had found work for Amazon. And also came a short statement of farewell from Amazon: “We are painfully affected by what happened – say the managers of the fulfillment center – Our thoughts and our deepest condolences to Andrea’s family and those dear to him.”
A quiet life, that of the Venetian transporter, dedicated to work, sacrifice and characterized by a great passion for Italian music. In fact, in Andrea’s social profile there are several references to the most famous songs by Vasco Rossi and Laura Pausini. Those blows that kept him company during the long days, he always passed at the wheel of his truck.
