Among the many who are suffering the economic effects of the pandemic and who are suddenly on the poverty line, there is also a 43-year-old woman who lives in Forlì. For her, the pandemic meant leaving her job, as she has been fighting cancer for 6 years.

But he wants to keep his job, confident that sooner or later the pandemic will end with the arrival of the vaccine.
The 43-year-old woman explains her protest to ForlìToday: “As I have done and continue to do various therapies and treatments, I cannot work and that is why I have to open the INPS disease. Although my illness is evident, I continually find myself having problems with the INPS ”. Because even with Covid there is no lack of bureaucracy, sometimes particularly annoying for those already affected by the disease. For example, the woman explains: “I have to constantly change the reason for the illness on the sheet that the doctor sends to the INPS, because otherwise it will be rejected.” And again: “Often the forensic doctor comes to the check-ups, and he can stay, to whom I have to give explanations for the treatment and the trip.”
But the biggest problem is the allowance: “Without work I still have monthly expenses (rent, bills, medicines, food expenses), but their payments are not constant even though the expenses do not wait. I receive a measly grant of 180 euros that barely covers the costs of the medicines. I am alone, I have no right to have anything even if I have a residence. Nor is he entitled to the benefits of Law 104. But how can we move forward under these conditions? I ask that they give me what awaits me, the monthly money from the INPS for my support ”. The absurdity of the situation, the woman concludes, is that she would lose her job, which instead the company keeps it, it would take more money with subsidies such as the Citizenship Income and it should not even be subject to the tax visit hours of the Inps. “But I have always gone to work and, once the Covid emergency is over, I hope to return to my normal work,” he concludes.
