Seven people have been killed by Covid-19 in the last 24 hours in Parma and its province. Among them was a 48-year-old woman. The other six deaths involved two 83-year-old women and one 85-year-old and three men 66, 87 and 89 years old. In the same time period, 27 new positive coronaviruses were registered.

Since the start of the coronavirus epidemic, 158,345 positive cases have been registered in Emilia-Romagna, 1,162 more than yesterday, out of a total of 19,892 swabs made in the last 24 hours. The percentage of new positives on the number of tampons manufactured since yesterday falls to 5.8%.

The control and prevention activity continues: of the newly infected, 655 are asymptomatic identified as part of the regional contact tracing and detection activities. Overall, 205 of the new positives were already isolated at the time of swab execution, 470 were identified within known foci.

The average age of new positives is currently 46.1 years.

Of 655 asymptomatic patients, 381 were identified through contact tracing, 41 through tests for risk categories introduced by the Region, 9 with serological examinations, and 4 through prehospital tests. An epidemiological investigation of 220 cases is still underway.

The contagion situation in the provinces sees Bologna with 244 new cases, Rimini (147), then Modena (139), Ravenna (131), Reggio Emilia (125), Piacenza (117), Ferrara (83), Imola (54 ), Cesena (49), Forlì (46), Parma (27).

These are the data, verified at 12 noon today based on institutional requests, related to the advance of the epidemic in the region.

In the last 24 hours, 19,892 swabs were performed, for a total of 2,451,777, to which are added 702 serological tests and 4,841 rapid swabs performed since yesterday.

As for the total number of people cured, there are 3,400 more than yesterday. Therefore, the total number of cured is 91,411.

Active cases, that is, real patients, to date have been reduced to 59,746 (-2,306 compared to yesterday). Of these, people in isolation at home, or those with mild symptoms that do not require hospital treatment or are asymptomatic, are a total of 56,645 (-2,290), almost 95% of all active cases.

Unfortunately, 68 new deaths are recorded: 4 in Piacenza (three women aged 81, 89 and 92 years and a man aged 70), 7 in Parma (four women: one 48, two 83, one 85; three men of 66, 87 and 89 years), 11 in the province of Reggio Emilia (three women: two of 92 and one of 94; eight men of 67, 69, 73.77, 80, 84, 90 and 91 years), 12 in the Modena (five women: one of 83, one of 91, two of 97, one of 100; seven men: one of 52, one of 68, one of 77, two of 80, one of 86 and one of 94), 13 in Bologna (seven women: one of 74, two of 81, one of 83, one of 85, one of 88 and one of 92; six men of 61, 64, 65, 69, 75, 92 years), 3 in Ferrara (one woman of 100, two men of 77 and 82), 12 in Ravenna (five women of 74, 78, 84, 86, 89 years old and seven men: one of 67, one of 81, one of 82, one of 84 , one of 86, two of 89), 6 in Forlì-Cesena (a woman of 83 years and five men of 81, 82, 84, 90 and 91 years). There are no deaths in Rimini.

In total, 7,168 deaths in the region since the beginning of the epidemic.

There is an increase in patients admitted to intensive care, which are 210 (+7 compared to yesterday), and 2,891 in the rest of Covid departments (-23).

In the area, patients admitted to intensive care are distributed as follows: 16 in Piacenza (no change compared to yesterday), 14 in Parma (no change), 19 in Reggio Emilia (no change), 40 in Modena (+1), 55 in Bologna (+4), 7 in Imola (+1), 17 in Ferrara (no change), 18 in Ravenna (+1), 3 in Forlì (no change), 2 in Cesena ( +1) and 19 in Rimini (-1).
