(ANSA) – NEW YORK, SEPTEMBER 08 – Donald Trump is willing to spend, if necessary, one hundred million dollars of his personal fortune for his re-election. According to Bloomberg News, this would be an unprecedented move for a sitting president and apparently his advisers would not be in favor.
In 2016, Trump personally contributed $ 66 million to his election campaign. So far, the Republican National Committee (RNC) has so far spent $ 800 million on his re-election, while the Democratic National Committee (DNC) has spent $ 414 million on Joe Biden.
August was particularly productive for Joe Biden, who raised $ 365 million, compared to $ 193 million raised in 2008 by then-Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama. The Trump campaign has yet to release figures for August. (HANDLE).
