THE YELLOW DAYS
December 21, 22 and 23 are yellow days during which it is prohibited to cross the borders of the Region itself. At this stage, the self-certification form is used if for “higher” reasons (work, health, need) you have to travel to regions other than yours or if you have to break the curfew from 22:00 to 05:00.
THE RED DAYS
The form (eventually completed, do it at home in a quiet moment) will always be carried with you when you leave home on red days: from December 24 to 27, from December 31 to January 3 and from January 5 and 6. We always remember that these days leaving home only for work reasons, health and urgent needs, which will be specified in the form. To avoid stories, bring your self-certification even if you are going to run to the park and even if you go to mass. It should be remembered that the bishops advised the faithful to go only to the nearest church and to scrupulously respect the rules of distancing.
FIREWORKS
If for serious reasons you have to leave during the curfew from 22 to 5 in the morning, the self-certification should be completed with more reason. In addition to the form, it is essential if you return to your residence from a second home. This trip – not during curfew – is always allowed, even on “red” days, but it is good to specify the address of residence or domicile on the form.
THE ORANGE DAYS
In the orange strip (December 28, 29, 30 and January 4, but in Campania and Abruzzo also 21, 22 and 23 will be orange) it is forbidden to leave the municipality or, if you live in a municipality of less than 5,000 inhabitants, overcome the distance of 30 kilometers from their residence. Those who do should bring the form with them. The curfew is always in effect. In your municipality, however, you can move freely.
THE SECOND BOX
The government has specified that it will always be possible to reach second homes in one’s region, even on red days. In this case, you will need the completed form.
