The same dramatic fate for her son, who died shortly after 11 p.m. last Wednesday. Finally, as mentioned, a few days ago the father was also hospitalized, who already suffered from other serious diseases and who is now in serious condition in a hospital bed. The 80-year-old retiree, who suffered from various pathologies, died in the intensive care unit of the ‘San Giovanni Di Dio’ in Agrigento.
Coronavirus in Sicily
In Sicily, 1,201 new positive cases were registered in the last 24 hours of the 8,856 swabs performed and 32 deaths. This is what the newsletter of the Ministry of Health reports. In total there are 22,832 infected, of which 1,348 are hospitalized, 195 in intensive care and 21,289 in home isolation. The cured increased to 9,928 while the dead to 735. In total, since the beginning of the pandemic, 33,495 people have been infected in Sicily.
