70-year-old patient of Albanian origin, hospitalized in the resuscitation room of the ‘Santa Maria della Misericordia’ hospital in Perugia. His was the 81st death of a person positive for the coronavirus in Umbria. Since the end of June, there have been no deaths related to Covid-19 in the region and, unfortunately, the total number has again increased in Umbria as well.

Thus the hospital company of Perugia in a note: “In the early morning of Thursday, September 4, a 70-year-old citizen of Albanian origin, resident in Perugia for years, died in the intensive care unit due to the consequences of Covid-19 . The man, returning from a trip to Albania, was hospitalized on August 21 in the infectious disease complex and transferred to resuscitation after his condition worsened even in the presence of other pathologies (the patient was dialyzed, editor’s note)) . The extraordinary commissioner Marcello Giannico – the note continues – informed Mayor Romizi and expressed his condolences to the relatives and also on behalf of the health personnel.
