Then another day passed in complete uncertainty, with overlapping rumors, quarrels in public or private, rigorous or overt statements by ministers and majority leaders. Then more confusion and new destruction of value for all the commercial establishments used as targets by a group of sadists who have conquered the command deck of the country. Because even a child would understand that measures such as those hypothesized would be useless, easy to avoid imagining that Christmas can be celebrated two days before or two days later (the same meter used by Francesco Boccia to justify the advance of the Midnight Mass). , and therefore stupid measures and only the result of malice.
I remember here that a month and a half ago it was the Prime Minister at a press conference who justified the invention of the chromatic enclosure (Italy divided into yellow, orange and red areas) with some sacrifices made in that period “so as not to close everything at Christmas and face December and the Christmas parties with greater serenity. ”Evidently, Conte was wrong. Conte never had a single word for the families of the Italian victims, gave a press conference on the day of the record of deaths (they were double the number that shook Merkel) and completely ignored them, never apologized for his mistakes and in fact he has always boasted of his (false) successes, he has not yet communicated a decision eight days before Christmas leaving everyone in uncertainty, he has not offered compensation in all this time (which is a clear compensation by law), but he scattered little money in a thousand streams, which he renamed with a word legally devoid of all meaning and right: “refreshments.”
We have the misfortune to live with what will probably go down in history for having been the worst government in Republican history. In the tragedy of the coronavirus we had a group of beginners in power who achieved the ranking of health emergency among the three worst countries in the world (today Italy is the third country in the world by number of deaths from viruses compared to the inhabitants), a lot that compared to Conte and Roberto Speranza, the highly criticized Donald Trump and Jair Bolsonaro appeared to be Massimo Galli and Andrea Crisanti. Unfortunately we are in this situation and there is no authority to appeal to to get out of it, because everyone seems deaf and stunned.
But even in this misfortune, what need was there to ruin Italian families on Christmas Day? What did the Child Jesus do to this band of sadists in power? And a single idea that can flash in the head of this group that is not to prohibit, restrict freedoms and close? Because they are motivating one more arrogance with the story of another fake news: “we have to grit our teeth now because January is the month of vaccines.” Good for a cheap Instagram place like useless Immuni app or rebate. But false, deeply false. Even if Commissioner Domenico Arcuri succeeds in what he has always failed, that is, a minimum of organization in time, to reach the end of next year vaccinating all Italians with the first dose (which is not very effective) and with the second it must be done to 323,287 Italians a day from January 1 to December 31, including Saturdays, Sundays and all holidays. That is why it is certain that we will have to spend all of 2021 in the company of the coronavirus: we cannot do it by repeating the events this year as the only options. They have not saved lives, given that the death toll speaks very clearly, but they have killed thousands of companies leaving hundreds of thousands of workers without a future. This is not the way, look for others.
If today it also prohibits families residing in the same municipalities from going to mass together and then seeing each other at home hugging on Christmas Day, it will be silly. I will not obey such a madness and I hope that no Italian will do so, that I invite civil disobedience.
