Coronavirus cases continue to grow in Abruzzo: 117, out of 2,227, those that have emerged in the last 24 hours and there is also one death, a 58-year-old from the province of Chieti.

The new positives are between 3 months and 94 years old and the very young under 19 are 23: 6 in the province of L’Aquila, 3 in the province of Pescara, 1 in the province of Chieti and 13 in the province of Teramo.

Thus, the positives of Covid 19 amount to 5,174 and the deaths since the beginning of the emergency to 488.

The number of positive cases also includes 3,154 discharged / cured (+1 compared to yesterday), of which 20 that of symptomatic with clinical manifestations associated with Covid 19 became asymptomatic and 3,134 that resolved the symptoms of the infection and resulted negative in two consecutive tests.

The positives currently in Abruzzo (calculated by subtracting the number of discharged / recovered and deceased from the total positives) are 1,532 (+115 compared to yesterday).

Among them, 137 patients (+21 compared to yesterday) are hospitalized in non-intensive care; 11 (+3 compared to yesterday) in intensive care, while the other 1,384 (+91 compared to yesterday) are in home isolation with active surveillance by the ASL.

Of the total positive cases, 856 are residents or domiciled in the province of L’Aquila (+37 compared to yesterday), 1,184 in the province of Chieti (+10), 2,056 in the province of Pescara (+22), 1,021 in the province of Teramo (+48), 38 outside the region (+1) and 19 (-1) for which provenance controls are being carried out.

Since the beginning of the Coronavirus emergency, a total of 225,647 tests have been carried out (+2,227 compared to yesterday).
