Fine of 4 thousand euros to the two owners. 20 kilos of untraceable food preparations seized
A farmhouse in the province of Ravenna, located between Faenza and Lugo, was closed by the Nas carabinieri after having verified what they describe as “serious hygienic-sanitary and structural deficiencies.”
In particular, some 20 kilos of untraceable food preparations were seized and insects, cockroaches and rodent corpses were found near the kitchens.
The two owners were fined about 4,000 euros and after communicating the infractions to the health authorities, the farmhouse (also a restaurant open to external customers) was closed “until the authorization requirements were restored.”
The value of the closed structure is 150 thousand euros.
