He first tried to steal her, then he sexually abused her. The victim is an 87-year-old retiree from Salsomaggiore Terme (Parma) who was attacked at her home. The author, identified and detained by the police coordinated by the Bologna Prosecutor’s Office, is a 17-year-old young man of North African origin who allegedly partially confessed to the violence. He is charged with attempted aggravated robbery and sexual assault.
The incident occurred last Saturday when, as reconstructed, the young man broke into the woman’s house for a robbery but the 87-year-old, returning from the garden, surprised him and began to scream. At that moment the boy reacted by attacking her and also raping her. He then fled but was noticed by a neighbor who also photographed him. The police thus located the 17-year-old who was located and transported to the barracks. Here he finally partially confessed to the violence. He is now at the Bologna facility for minors. He is charged with attempted aggravated robbery and sexual assault. The pensioner, for his part, had to resort to treatment at the Emergency Service of the Fidenza Hospital.
