The data in the new Civil Protection bulletin reports a decrease in hospitalized people. There are 1,427 people in intensive care today, 52 fewer than yesterday. 16,270 people are still hospitalized with symptoms, 553 fewer than yesterday. In home isolation, 80,770 people (908 less than yesterday).
In the last twenty-four hours 236 people died (yesterday there were 195 victims), reaching a total of 29,315 deaths.
The cures reached 85,231, for a 24-hour increase of 2,352 units (1,225 people were cured yesterday).
The drop in patients (that is, people currently positive) was 1,513 units (yesterday it was 199), while new infections in the last 24 hours were 1,075 (1,221 yesterday), at least since March 10.
These two data should always be analyzed taking into account the fact that they are closely related to the number of samples made. Today 55,263 swabs were made (yesterday 37,631). The ratio of swabs made to identified cases is 1 patient for every 51.4 swabs made, 1.9%, the lowest since the beginning of the epidemic.
In recent days, this figure has averaged 3.1%. The total number of people who have contracted the virus since the outbreak began is 213,013.
