In Italy, the total number of people who tested positive for coronaviruses, including those healed and deceased, is 207,428. Of these, 100,943 are currently infected (UPDATES – SPECIAL – GRAPHICS – WHAT CHANGES WITH PHASE 2 – DATES AND CALENDAR). 2,304 people recovered in the last 24 hours, for a total of 78,249. The total number of victims is 28,236, 269 more. The decrease in ICU patients continues: 1,578, 116 less than yesterday. The figure falls for the twenty-seventh day in a row. Of the currently positive patients, 17,569 are hospitalized with symptoms, 580 fewer than yesterday, and 81,796 are in home isolation. The swabs made are 74,208 more than yesterday, for a total of 2,053,425. The total number of daily swabs also includes “salient” swabs, that is, people who after illness or isolation at home undergo one or more swabs before they can be called “cured.” Instead, 1,398,633 people underwent the test, net of the number of swabs they made, 43,732 more than yesterday.
