There are 1,014 new coronavirus positives in Sicily out of a total of 19,939 swabs processed, with an incidence of positives of 5%. The victims have been 14 in the last 24 hours and bring the total to 4,676.
This is what emerges from the daily newsletter on Covid published by the Ministry of Health, which always places Sicily in ninth place by number of daily infections.
The current positive figure is 21,925 with 914 more cases than yesterday; 86 are cured. In hospitals there are 1,054 patients (+6 compared to yesterday), those in intensive care are 152 (+2). The distribution in the provinces places Palermo in the lead with 360 new cases, followed by Catania with 223, Messina with 124, Agrigento with 131, Caltanissetta with 76, Ragusa with 56, Enna with 22, Trapani with 19, Siracusa with 3.
