The Arma’s men took action after receiving a report about a suspicious package, lying in the FedEx warehouse, delivered to a young resident in the center of Ferrara, from Spain.
The military, after contacting the shipping company, contacted the shipping company and verified the validity of the report, asking to know the details of the recipient, place, date and time expected for delivery.

In fact, the name and one of the cell phone numbers corresponded to one of the three detainees, while the second cell phone, reported in the transport documents as a second delivery option, was the one used by the young man who was pretending to “watch.” the area.
When inspecting the package, the typical aroma of hashish was perceptible, so the police opened it and found inside, in addition to chocolate and cookies, well 551 grams of hashish, divided into loaves and ovules.
In subsequent raids on the homes of the three detainees, precision hangers, hallucinogenic mushrooms and glass containers used to store the substance were found and seized, as well as an empty package, very similar to the one just intercepted, showing the month of January. delivery date.
From the documentation provided by the shipping company, the military also tracked down another similar expedition, not yet carried out. The package, identical to the previous one, both in size and in sender and recipient, was still stored at the FedEx sorting center in Bologna, with an expected delivery date for next week. For this reason, the investigators of the operational team, on the afternoon of Thursday, March 25, went to the capital of Bologna and, endowed with an embargo decree issued by the Ferrara Prosecutor’s Office, proceeded to acquire and open the second package that contained 5 pieces of hashish of 494 grams.
The three young men, all of them clean, were placed under house arrest. On Friday morning, the judge validated the arrest of the three and postponed the trial by direct line to another date, subjecting them for the moment to the obligation to sign daily in a command of the Arma.
