There are 699 new cases of coronavirus in Sicily, 83 less than yesterday. The tests carried out are 24,073, the positivity rate going from 2.8 to 2.9%.
The number of daily deaths decreases: there are 8,232 recovered, 23 more people are hospitalized in hospitals (+3 in intensive care).
This is the distribution of the new infected by province: 342 in Palermo, 74 in Catania, 70 in Caltanissetta, 61 in Agrigento, 56 in Messina, 50 in Syracuse, 31 in Ragusa, 13 in Trapani, 2 in Enna.
Throughout Italy there are 20,159 new positives. Yesterday it was 23,832. There are 300 victims in one day (yesterday there were 401). The tests are 277,086 (yesterday 354,480). The positivity rate rises half a point, to 7.2% (yesterday it was 6.7%).
There are 3,448 patients admitted to intensive care, 61 more than yesterday, in the balance between entries and exits, while the daily entries to intensive care are 232 (yesterday they were 243). In ordinary wards, however, 27,484 people are hospitalized, with an increase of 423 units in the last 24 hours.
The total number of cases since the beginning of the epidemic is 3,376,376, while deaths increase to 104,942. There are currently 571,672 positives in Italy, an increase of 6,291 compared to yesterday. Since the start of the pandemic, 2,699,762 people have been cured and discharged, with an increase of 13,526 in the last 24 hours.
