Campania red zone, travel and school: ordinance and rules

In the Campania region, the red zone, stop moving to second homes and also stop at school in attendance until April 3 to avoid contagion of the coronavirus. This was established by the ordinance signed today by the president of the Campania Region Vincenzo De Luca with new rules and restrictions.


More specifically, the travel measure is valid from Thursday March 18 to Monday April 5. Therefore, the ordinance prohibits “traveling from the municipality of residence, domicile or habitual residence in the Campania region to second residences in the region, except for proven reasons of necessity or urgency and in any case during the time strictly indispensable”.

Instead, the suspension of teaching activities in presence in all schools in Campania runs until April 3. Effective from March 16 to April 3, the ordinance reads, “It is forbidden to carry out didactic and training activities and related tests and exams, including language, theater and related courses. Training activities professional – continue to be read – are carried out in presence only when this modality is essential and in any case within the limits provided by article 25 paragraph 7 of the Dpcm March 2, 2021 “.

The ordinance also prohibits “carrying out in the presence of the theoretical and practical activities of driving schools and nautical schools, to obtain any type of license.”
