CAGLIARI. In the last update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 81 new cases were detected. In total, 786,233 swabs were performed, for an overall increase of 2,600 tests compared to the previous figure. The ratio of positive cases to swabs performed marks a positive rate of 3.1% for the island. There were 4 deaths (1,177 in total). A total of 41,488 positive Covid-19 cases have been detected in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency.
On the other hand, 193 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (+1), while 23 (+3) patients are in intensive care. There are 12,485 people in home isolation. Those cured are a total of 27,420 (+82), while the people declared clinically cured on the island are currently 190.
In the territory, of the 41,488 positive cases verified in total, 9,901 (+29) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 6,629 (+9) in southern Sardinia, 3,493 (+5) in Oristano, 8,226 (+8) ) in Nuoro, 13,239 (+30) in Sassari.
