Severe car accident for Tiger Woods. The golf champion was removed seriously injured in the leg: he suffered multiple fractures, said his agent, Mark Steinberg. However, the injuries are not life-threatening, according to Lt. Michael White of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. The incident took place in Ranchos Palos Verdes, Los Angeles County. Woods, 45, was taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The accident only involved his car, which apparently rolled over after turning off the road. Firefighters and paramedics had to cut the metal sheets of the car to free it.

The incident occurred, according to the Los Angeles authorities report, shortly after 7 a.m. The golfer is currently in surgery. As reported by Tmz, there would be no alcohol at the base of the incident, even if at the moment the sources of the well-known gossip site are not unbalanced about possible use of other substances.
