In the last 24 hours, after the consultations, there has been a whirlwind of phone calls in the Movement5 stars.

Continuous contacts to understand how to overcome yesterday’s impasse when, after the meeting of the 5 Stars with the Prime Minister in charge Mario Draghi, Beppe Grillo had decided to postpone the vote on the Rousseau platform, in which the militants had to approve or bury the Support pentastellato for the new executive.

This morning – while the Movement base reacted with an irritated tone to the change – details emerged about the signals that Grillo expected. And in the hours that followed, those signals would arrive.

The phone call with Draghi

Unconfirmed rumors also speak of one phone call between Prime Minister in charge Mario Draghi and Beppe Grillo. The interview would take place shortly after lunchtime, following the rumors that circulated in the morning. And now Grillo, with a new video, could explain the steps forward in the negotiation and, presumably, back the government.

WWF statements also support the dialogue between the Movement and Grillo. In fact, the environmental association has relaunched – at the end of the interview with Draghi – the news according to which the prime minister in charge had planned a ecological transformation ministry: the other piece much invoked by the leader of the Five Stars.

Conte’s endorsement and the vote on Rousseau

The vote on Rousseau is postponed to tomorrow for technical reasons. And while the consultation times are being defined, the outgoing premier, Giuseppe, arrives Conte: If I were a member of Rousseau, he told reporters close to Montecitorio, I would vote for Draghi because the country is in such conditions and with such urgency that it is still good that there is a government.
