Rovigo, 17, kills his father with a machete: runs away with a friend

Shock a Rovigo, whence a young man from 17 years killed with a machete the father at the end of a violent fight, which occurred in a child Roma camp, in the village of Sant’Appollinare. The minor, some witnesses said, would later flee aboard an ‘Opel’ Zafira van. With him would also be a friend, a girl in her twenties who lives in a nearby town, Ceregnano.

The murder took place at night. The victim’s name was Eddy Cavazza, 46. The son allegedly hit him with a machete. It is possible that the child escaped before realizing that the father had passed away. Forensic police and mobile team officers are working at the scene, who are listening to witnesses to the event.
