In the regions: Lombardy with the highest number of new infections
Today, for the first time in many days, it is not the Veneto region with the highest number of new infections, but Lombardy: 3,267; Veneto has 2,167 and is surpassed even by Emilia-Romagna (2,193). Next are Lazio (1,746), Sicily (1,733) and Campania (1,253). In total, there are 7 regions with more than a thousand new infected. The lowest number is found in Valle d’Aosta (19), the only region with fewer than 100 new infections.
