A fourteen-year-old boy was injured after participating in a maxi brawl between minors in the afternoon in Gallarate (Varese), “organized” by two groups of very young “rivals” from Varese. At least a hundred attended, according to some testimonies later collected by the local police, some of them armed with sticks and chains.
One of them reportedly suffered a minor head injury. Local Police intervened to prevent the group from hitting with various means, including shoppers and dismayed passersby.
To make an appointment, the very young would have used social networks and WhatsApp chats. Some videos that immortalize the scene have also been broadcast on social networks. The reasons for the confrontation are unknown. Investigators have already captured images from video surveillance cameras in the area.
“It’s hard to understand how something like this could have happened.” Thus, the mayor of Gallarate, Andrea Cassani, commented with Ansa the maxi brawl that today involved a hundred minors in the Varese area. It is difficult to understand how it is possible – added the mayor – “that hundreds of young people have gathered for a collective beating. It should make us all reflect on the education of our children. “I think it is an alarm – Cassani concluded – perhaps a situation due to lack of sociability, sports activity, a terrifying aggression.”
