“Together with colleagues and colleagues from the Chamber and the Senate, exponents of the school world, representatives of associations, researchers, university professors, writers, ecologists and educators, we present an appeal to the Minister of Education Lucia Azzolina and the Minister of Health Roberto Esperanza , so that no more time is wasted and the necessary interventions are carried out to guarantee maximum security for the closer opening of the school ”.
This is stated by the Hon. Fioramonti (mixed), former Minister of Education, University and Research.
“As has already been reiterated for months – continues Fioramonti -, in the appeal we ask for the adoption of a single national protocol for the management of infection tracking and quarantines, in order to prevent each ASL from continuing to advance alone, generating confusion among schools (also from the same region) and among school leaders, navigating the best they can. “
Then we ask – continues the deputy of Mixto – basic measures such as the provision of air disinfectants for the classrooms, because it is not possible to keep the windows open in the colder months and a national public platform for the management of DAD, which is now clear which will continue to accompany us in the coming years as a complementary form of teaching ”.
“We remember it once again: we have been in a pandemic for almost a year, but the most important interventions to ensure safety are lacking. Without decisive and timely interventions, the reopening of schools becomes a pure rhetorical exercise, to the detriment of students and the youngest ”- concludes the former minister.
Urgent appeal to the Minister of Education and the Minister of Health for the opening of schools in January
