Admissions in Puglia continue to fall. In the last 24 hours, 11 beds have been released in the Covid patient facilities, for a total of 1601 hospitalized people. The new positives are 631. The swabs processed were 4,138. The encouraging aspect is that the number of cured (1,150) is almost double that of the new positives. Still too many deaths. In fact, another 20 people, including one in Brindisi province, lost their lives.
The new cases are distributed as follows: 318 in the province of Bari, 77 in the province of Brindisi, 46 in the province of Bat, 97 in the province of Foggia, 71 in the province of Lecce, 21 in the province of Taranto, 1 resident outside the region. This is the attribution of the 20 deaths: 9 in the province of Bari, 2 in the province of Bat, 1 in the province of Brindisi, 1 in the province of Lecce, 6 in the province of Taranto, 1 resident outside the region .
Since the beginning of the emergency, 1,065,109 tests have been performed: 38,209 recovered patients; 53,539 are currently positive cases. The total number of positive Covid cases in Apulia is 94,284, divided as follows: 36,550 in the province of Bari; 10,718 in the province of Bat; 6,816 in the province of Brindisi; 20,829 in the province of Foggia; 7,338 in the province of Lecce; 11,407 in the province of Taranto; 527 attributed to residents outside the region; 99 province of unknown residence.

Update hospitalized in Brindisi and its province
10 internal medicine patients and 6 pulmonology patients are admitted to the Ostuni hospital.
