Covid in Campania, today 747 positives and 31 deaths: the contagion curve is growing, hospitalizations are also increasing

The contagion curve of the coronavirus in Campania continues to grow: today the virus is registered 747 positives out of 6,743 swabs performed128 more than yesterday but with 332 more swabs processed. In percentage, it means that 11.08% of the tests are positive, almost two points more than yesterday when the contagion rate was 9.65%. Of all these newly infected, 669 are asymptomatic and only 78 have symptoms.

More generally, the total of positives amounts to 193,165 about 2,072,185 swabs processed, while the number of victims rises to 2,942 with the 31 deaths registered yesterday, although the crisis unit is quick to specify that “these are already dead.” In contrast, the hospital admissions figures improved: 1,377 hospitalized with symptoms, 15 more than yesterday and 96 patients in intensive care, two less than yesterday. And the number of cured patients is also growing, from 102,065 to 112,726 with 1,044 negative in 24 hours.
