Of the 4,138 swabs processed, 631 people tested positive for Covid-19 infection in Puglia, today: 318 in the province of Bari, 77 in the province of Brindisi, 46 in the BAT province, 97 in the province of Foggia, 71 in the province of Lecce, 21 in the province of Taranto, 1 resident outside the region.
On the other hand, there are 20 confirmed deaths, almost half of which in the Bari area (9). 6 victims in the province of Taranto, 2 in Bat and one in the provinces of Brindisi and Lecce. Another death concerns a resident outside the region. No victims have been registered in the province of Foggia: it had not happened since last November 9.
With 1,150 today, the number of patients recovered from Covid infection rises to 38,209. Active cases fell again: 53,539 (-539 compared to yesterday), of which 1,601 were hospitalized and 51,938 in home isolation.
Since the beginning of the emergency, 1,065,109 tests have been performed, the total of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 94,284, divided as follows: 36,550 in the province of Bari, 10,718 in the province of Bat, 6,816 in the Brindisi province, 20,829 in Foggia province, 7,338 in Lecce province, 11,407 in Taranto province, 527 attributed to residents outside the region, 99 of unknown residence.
