435 people recovered from Covid in one day, but the number of hospitalized patients in Puglia is increasing. Today (Saturday, January 2) there are 29 more: yesterday there were 1,613, today there are 1,642. As for the regional daily bulletin, today in Puglia, 2,021 tests were registered for the Covid-19 coronavirus infection and 344 positive cases were registered: 114 in the province of Bari, 44 in the province of Brindisi, 14 in the province of BAT, 139 in the province of Foggia, 10 in the province of Lecce, 21 in the province of Taranto, 3 residents outside the region. 1 case of province of unknown residence was reclassified and attributed. 10 deaths were recorded: 3 in the province of Bari, 1 in the province of Brindisi, 5 in the province of Foggia, 1 in the province of Taranto.
Since the beginning of the emergency, 1,053,380 tests have been carried out. 36,400 patients were recovered; 53,812 are currently positive cases. The total number of positive Covid cases in Puglia is 92,703, divided as follows: 35,805 in the province of Bari; 10,607 in the province of Bat; 6,700 in the province of Brindisi; 20,480 in the province of Foggia; 7,180 in the province of Lecce; 11,308 in the province of Taranto; 524 attributed to residents outside the region; 99 province of unknown residence. Asl’s Prevention Departments have activated all the procedures for the acquisition of anamnestic and epidemiological information, with the aim of tracing close contacts.

Data of those hospitalized in the Brindisi area
Seven internal medicine patients and 11 pulmonology patients are admitted to the Ostuni hospital.
