CAGLIARI. A total of 31,667 cases of Covid-19 positivity have been detected in Sardinia since the beginning of the emergency. In the last update of the Regional Crisis Unit, 189 new cases were detected. There are also 4 deaths (755 in total): two men and two women between 69 and 81 years old. The victims: three residents of the province of South Sardinia and one of the province of Sassari.
A total of 487,320 swabs were performed with an increase of 1,496 tests. On the other hand, 479 patients are currently hospitalized in non-intensive wards (unchanged from yesterday), while the number of patients in intensive care is 41 (-1). There are 16,152 people in home isolation.
The progressive number of positive cases includes 13,925 (+177) recovered patients, plus another 315 clinically recovered. In the territory, of the 31,667 positive cases verified in total, 7,128 (+68) were detected in the metropolitan city of Cagliari, 5,186 (+42) in the south of Sardinia, 2,544 (+2) in Oristano, 6,315 (+35) ) in Nuoro, 10,494 (+42) in Sassari.
